New technology is emerging every day that will define our future. Much of that technology is being driven by communications and enterprise technologies, and there is an ongoing shortage of technical experts with the insight and skills to support these new solutions.

To help ensure our future, NSI IT Solutions has established a scholarship for students interested in computer science, IT, and related disciplines. We are offering a $500 scholarship to two deserving students who are attending a higher education program located in the state of Connecticut. The scholarship will provide additional funds for the fall 2016 semester.

To qualify for the 2016 NSI Technology scholarship, applicants need to complete the online form, and attach supporting documentation, including:

  • Proof of admissions or enrollment in a Connecticut-based college, university, or accredited trade school (enrollment includes any IT, computer science, engineering or information systems discipline)
  • Write an essay (no more than 500 words) by answering the following question:
"Technology disruption can change business models overnight. From Uber to Spotify to Netflix, what do you see as the biggest technology disruption over the next 5-10 years? "

The deadline for your essay submission is May 31, 2016. Recipients will be notified before the Fall 2016 semester begins for disbursement of payment.

NSI IT Solutions is committed to staying current with the latest technology trends, and we are committed to ensuring our technological future. Creating the NSI Scholarship is just one small gesture to support the next generation of IT experts.
